Towards the end of 2016 I developed intense pelvic pain and after a particularly uncomfortable ultrasound I was diagnosed with endometriosis - ouch.
Ouch both physically and emotionally, because I suddenly realised just how little attention I'd been paying to my womb (and it turns out She has a LOT to say, but perhaps I'll save that for a future post!)
I'm all about combining modern medicine with holistic healing techniques, so slinging cards felt like a totally natural thing for me to do.
I knew intuitively that the difficulties I'm experiencing with my luscious lady parts aren't simply physical in nature but tied to emotional aches and pains in need of supportive understanding and healing as well.
And so, the Heartfelt Healing Spread was born as a way of exploring + understanding my diagnosis and developing a healing plan targeting not only physical healing but also healing on an emotional, heartfelt level - because the latter has a major positive impact on the former.
Truth bomb alert: the first time I tried this spread I cried. A lot.
The cards resonated so strongly, and spirit came through with such loving support and encouragement, that I felt absolutely protected, looked after and understood right the way through.
I've found that setting the intention to receive clear, heartfelt messages always for the highest good helps supercharge this reading even more, as often the last thing we want when feeling anxious or fragile is a ton of confusion!
